Pavan 5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent phone that is pricey and late to the market. • The Phone is built solid, feels very good to hold in hand. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and a Stock Case from Samsung has already saved my phone once. • Phone gets warm during normal use and while taking photos but gets hotter when you start shooting videos. Overall an excellent phone, which is late to the market and pricey, with a battery not truly lasting a day.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G – graphite – 5G smartphone – 128 GB – CDMA / GSM is rated 3.40 out of 5 by 122 . Battery life (#3 on the list) takes a hit compared to the S20 FE, but that’s expected.
You get some great features like wireless and reverse charging, waterproofing, and exceptional screen without shelling out $1000. Rated 5 out of 5 by ZeroXMRK from Very Happy with this Device I absolutely love this phone. The other thing, which is my biggest dislike, is that it doesn’t have an Iris Scanner like the Galaxy S9 did. I wear gloves, masks and other headgear for work, so being able to hold the phone up to my eye to unlock it was amazing.
Other than those 2 things, the S21 battery is pretty good, it lasts me a full day even with continuous use. Pictures can be blown up on bigger screens and still be crystal clear. I thought of replacing its battery for $100, but I just couldn’t refuse the deal Samsung is currently offering for a brand new S21 FE 5g. The SD865 CPU is plenty powerful, the 4500 mAh battery is a big plus, especially for me, and the guaranteed 4 years of OS support is unbeatable.
I considered getting the S22 for only $100 more, but it had a slightly smaller battery and less screen real estate, so the S21 FE with 5g was the right phone for me at the perfect trade-in price. Its only shortcoming (to me) is the lack of SD Card expansion storage, but with 128 GB to start, there are plenty of ways to get around that these days.
Overall, it’s a very attractive phone with a beautiful display, excellent battery life and processing power, 5g connectivity, the perfect size for my hand, excellent triplet rear camera setup and 4 years of OS support. Unless you absolutely must have the S-Pen and/or the S22 Ultra, this S21 FE 5g is like an offer from Vito Corleone “that you just can’t refuse”.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Jackal from Questionable Build Quality I bought this phone 6 weeks ago and just after 2 weeks the volume button partial came off despite being in a case and the motherboard was faulty. Besides the build quality the phone worked exactly as expected and had few issues from a software standpoint.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Doglady from Multiple function issues I bought my S21FE in january 2022. Had it about a month when a routine software update caused icon badges to disappear.
2 calls and 3 hours with customer service led to sending the phone back to be reflashed. When the S21FE works, it’s a pretty good phone, lots of great features, but comes with issues too.
The only thing that keeps this phone from being perfect for me is the lack of an SD card slot. I’ve had over the years just about every brand phone there is and I always end up coming back to samsung. Rated 5 out of 5 by Thisphonesucks from Piece of junk, turning into another apple product. I bought this like a month ago after having to trade in my s10e and s9 because the s10e doesnt support 5g and I couldn’t make calls.
But anyway this phone does everything that does but within a month had bad pixels on the right side of the screen. Plus no more headphone jack or sd slot so if you take a lot of pictures gotta pay onedrive every month to store them in a lousy cloud. Rated 5 out of 5 by A Jo from Good phone,Bad Samsung service reflects the Rating Samsung makes good product but their customer service ruins the experience ! Samsung service will take them on the path to likes of Motorola, Nokia, Blackberry…..etc.
It is a great telephone with amazing camera quality and a wide variety of features. This is my first Samsung and I have certainly found the quality and quantity in this product that one looks for when making a purchase. Rated 5 out of 5 by Gorichb from Great phone, fast and full of features Going on a couple months now and completely satisfied so far. Called and the last in customer care said the reader had to be bad, so I sent it back.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Reza from Slowly loosing my trust on Samsung I am a Samsung user for years now and last year I bought S21 Ultra and was very excited about the phone. In the beginning after buying the phone for 2 months, I started seeing some screen jitters which were not persistent and went away. Last week , the screen started showing some green lines and then went all black after 2 hours. When I reached out to local UBREAKIFIX support center they said, they can’t work on this color(being premium) and it needs to be sent to Samsung repair.
On sending the phone to Samsung support, they sent me a bill of $215 to replace the screen. Rated 5 out of 5 by JimS from Great phone I bought my s21 fe about 3 weeks ago and I’m very pleased as it is an improvement over the s8 that I had at the time. For me a phone is a basic communication instrument and a quick and easy way to look things up on the internet. Rated 5 out of 5 by Regretsinlife from 28 Days life span This is my first samsung phone, not only did the phone not come with a wall charger but died after 28 days of usage, be it that it was NOT dropped or gotten wet, literally was taking a pic and just went black and unable to turn on.
Rated 5 out of 5 by mangtemi from the perfect size I’m so happy with the featured it has, other flagship phone’s overkill specs are too much that they’re not useful anymore. Galaxy S21 FE’s great specs and extremely good battery makes it bang for the upgrafe Date published: 2022-04-13T00:00:00-04:00 byfrom
Rated 5 out of 5 by Jack from Glitchy I do not like this and going to store tomorrow to see options. No app will remember info so have to log in each time which is not cool for the profession I’m in.
I’ve never had a phone that I can take off the charger before going to bed, wake up and go all day without ever needing to plug-in. Rated 5 out of 5 by Eugene from Overall great phone The only thing I don’t like is that the travel adapter is not included. I think for the phone that costs almost $700, Samsung should provide free travel adapter Date published: 2022-02-19T00:00:00-05:00 byfrom I can connect mobile to laptop using Microsoft phone link app, ssmsung dex etc.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cocoiswhite from Great value I bought this phone a month ago. Many people complained about the plastic back but honestly how many people use their phone as it is without a case anyway so the plastic finish didn’t bother me at all as Samsung did it to keep the cost down.
it will drain your battery faster though but you can go to Display settings and change it to 60Hz if you want. Switched over from my iPhone 13 because I liked the UI multitasking and the light and minimal feeling of this phone after playing with a store demo.
The finger print sensor is a great and perhaps an unpopular opinion, but I prefer it over face authentication. I got a really good deal directly form Samsung site, Date published: 2022-02-04T00:00:00-05:00 byfrom
I just purchased this phone from Boost mobile, I wonder if they get the bad units or the unit that sort of may have an issue not sure, this unit has locked up a couple of times already, Not doing much on it, like playing games, or watching videos, as it is a test phone testing out the new Boost service, (not so great in the Tampa bay area) I really should have gotten another test phone as I have a S20 fe for my daily driver, and it is just okay, I hate all the extra Samsung bloat ware, and apps that I don’t even want and you can’t remove, the Samsung commercials and adds that pop up, are a pain. Ready to go back to my Blu G90t Pro, just no bloat wear, no issues with apps, no advertisements, Plain Android, Listen Samsung, give us the consumer great hardware, but give us a clean version of android, no bloatware, no Samsung apps, No advertisements, no software that wants to save my password, or sell my data to a 3rd party, and lessen the price, as you don’t have to pay the dev from creating that bad Samsung skin and software I will never buy another unit until Samsung does or Samsung anything. as I have wasted enough of my hard earned money on your Products, for just a okay phone, hate to see how your smarts TV are the same just okay and over priced.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Jaybug from Great I love this phone, it does every thing I need. I opted for the S21 FE 5G over the flip due to the difference in price and have not been disappointed overall. The battery life is good when compared to most current electronics and I bring my charger with me if I plan on using the phone often.
I’ve had both hardware and software issues including loss of icon badges, camera failures, need for reflash, nonresponsive screen, jumping out of apps while they are in use, and several others. Rated 5 out of 5 by AvidPhoneUser from Not worth the upgrade from the S20 Without the use of a microsd card to store my photos and videos safely in the case of my phone being damaged, it is not worth the upgrade.
Rated 5 out of 5 by MegR from Truly amazing I don’t typically write reviews, but I just need to say this. I dropped my Galaxy S21 in a lake; the water was too murky to see where the phone was and too cold to go diving for it.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Siri from SAMSUNG GALAXY 21fe I bought this cell and returned mine because it was a great deal. Snap 888, 6gb ram 128gb storage and 120hz refresh rate ahhhhhh Date published: 2022-04-12T00:00:00-04:00 byfrom
Rated 5 out of 5 by Master pink from Awesome I activated this on July 12th and so far I have nothing bad to say about this phone it’s another great product from Samsung which I have been buying since 1999 that’s how long I’ve been with AT&T Date published: 2022-09-13T00:00:00-04:00 byfrom Rated 5 out of 5 by Clarke302 from faster than any cell I’ve ever had and great price I got this phone to replace my aging S7, and dear lord, is it fast!
Battery life is fantastic, all-day use and still has a charge when I get home.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wrong Way Ronnie from Cameras are amazing I’ve had mine for 3 weeks and well needless to say Im writing this review on my new pixel 6 that I received yesterday.Kinda seems like they put little to no effort into the S21,drops calls all the time, doesn’t stay connected to wifi, takes forever to connect to ring door bell, all 3 buttons are on the opposite side now, no power button anymore, kinda bulky w/ a case on, resolution not as good and the sound adjustments/eq are as week as it gets..IDK I guess I just expected it to be an upgrade but was quite the opposite. Not to mention its kinda ugly Wrong Way Date published: 2022-04-20T00:00:00-04:00 byfrom The phone itself is not the same size as the s20 one (imo) the good feature about this newer version is the camera upgrade & can easily fit into my pant pocket.
The battery life is still meh like the s20 fe, but it is a flagship phone after all but it runs much better & again the camera quality after playing with it for a good couple hours is way better. Also I do enjoy that the body frame is a little more thicker but light weight which is nice. Overall great little phone without breaking the bank, but just know it’s not going to be like the more expensive ones with all the bells & whistles lol.
I got mine in white & it’s actually pretty yet simple…overall happy with my purchase on it. I’m still within my 30 day trial period and as much as I hate to say it (because I can’t stand Apple) I might have to switch. Better battery life and comparable bells and whistles at this price point.
IT MOVES SUPER SLOW, FREEZES UP OFTEN, AND THE BATTERY LIFE DOES NOT LAST AT ALL. Rated 5 out of 5 by Jeff from Worst phone from ANY manufacturer I’ve ever owned Bought this a few days ago.
Discovered that Samsung took a page from Apple and now it doesn’t have an audio port. I use my phone to listen to Pandora with an external, NON-blue tooth speaker. Blue tooth really draws serious power, afraid that the battery won’t hold up while out in the field. I know that Samsung did this to push us to buy your over-priced “wireless” headphones, just like Apple did.
Rated 5 out of 5 by MarcL from Excellent features I’ve had it for 3 months and performs well. Rated 5 out of 5 by Bnoecker from BAD Have had MANY samsung phones and this 1 sucks. Rated 5 out of 5 by Randall from Great Camera and video quality Bought it a month ago had s10 plus for 3 years and notice some differences between the phones Date published: 2022-04-08T00:00:00-04:00 byfrom Rated 5 out of 5 by Will never buy Samsung from Constantly crashes and reboots Regretted this purchase immediately.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Salo from Nice “Almost” Flagship Phone for Great Price I used the Samsung promotion to trade in my almost 4 year old S9+ which was still in absolutely mint condition, except for the battery which was down to about 4 hours per charge. The actual screen size is virtually the same and the phone still fits in my hand like a glove.
Overall, the S21 FE is a beautiful, powerful phone with 5g capability and, so far, works flawlessly. I’m very happy with my new phone since it ticks all the boxes that are important to me, and with four years of promised updates and support, I just hope the bigger battery holds out for that long.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Eric from Horrible reception, wifi calling is useless This phone shows connected to 5G, can’t make calls or even open up web pages on 5G. I can be in any major city and everyone around me with the same carrier will have great reception on their devices, not mine.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Lucifer666 from Some good features…poor battery life Got the samsung s21 fe two weeks ago, I do not like that it has both onedrive and samsung backing up, filling up unnecessary space. The camera takes nice still photos but any movement and it’s a blur.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Melvin from Ill never buy this cellphone again The screen gets really hot all the time one day gets to hot to the point i drop itt burns my finger really bad and the screen is really fragile …… Rated 5 out of 5 by Pymmot from Worst smartphone I have ever had I guess my first Nokia phone I got more than 20 years ago was worse. Samsung needs to stop trying to make an iPhone clone.
Rated 5 out of 5 by A2 wolverine from Nice upgrade Big upgrade for myself coming from S8+ to S21FE Camera is an improvement, stills are spectacular I haven’t shot video yet still getting acquainted with new features.
The last galaxy phone I had was an A35 5G which I loved, but this S21 FE 5G is light years ahead of that one. Phone overheat so much that its just a joke, and i don’t have any apps running in background like facebook etc. Turning phone off are the same buttons that take screenshots now my god, OVERALL PERFORMANCE AND USER EXPERIENCE IS SUPER FRUSTRATRING and not worth the price Date published: 2022-05-10T00:00:00-04:00 byfrom Rated 5 out of 5 by Nitin from Great device Solid Android phone.
It is large and at times awkward to hold with one hand to take pictures – but this is a given with today’s near phablet-size devices.
I look forward to more innovation which would include form factor (Flip size) combined with better cameras or as a stop-gap measure – sell attachable lens extenders.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Libra from 2 things I like best abt my new Samsung S21 Fe…. 128 gb & the phone is purple! I didn’t have a choice since my fave LG stopped making phones!
Rated 5 out of 5 by Jenn from S21 FE 5G I just got it a couple weeks ago and I absolutely love it, lavender purple and my favorite color and also got lavender purple buds2 so I’m super happy.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Snap from Love the phone I got this from AT&T a few weeks ago, upgrading from an AT&T Calypso, and WOW it works sooooooo good!
So I never had a doubt in my mind and I did anyways choose Samsung Galaxy series phone over anything else even though this country is obsessed over iOS devices (aka Apple). What I use the most in Samsung Galaxy is the seamless software integration with windows 11 devices, ease of transferring file without proprietary apps like iTunes (I know the pain, former iPhone user! Said a wise person So summary who would like this phone will be anyone who loves value for money and people who realize all glitter are not gold! There are many cool and awesome features that I tent to use every day and has a great battery life.
Rated 5 out of 5 by K Kira from The High Tech portable mobile for a good price The samsung s21 fe is one the best samsung I’ve ever had yet and i bet the 22 is even better but the 21 has been very good help to me its easy to use and yet it still has advanced functions that can help you out for certain necessities its durable and long lasting battery with an amazing camera function with very good quality so taking pictures was packed with every moment and beauty the world has overall i love itttt Date published: 2022-12-24T00:00:00-05:00 byfrom Today leaving the gym, the folded phone fell out of my pocket. Rated 5 out of 5 by JBlack45 from Overheating and no signal Have had trouble with my phone over heating regardless if I’m using it or it’s charging or it’s just sitting on my table. Still worth the money Nice phone, I had hard time deciding between it and S21 5G as I liked the extra memory.
I took it to two different Samsung authorized repair shops and both declined to service the phone, first place said that they didn’t have the right tools and second that Samsung didn’t provide the parts. Only drawback seems to be the battery, does not last as long as I would expect a phone of this caliber to deliver.
